TabTrade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus
